Ærø has quietly become one of Europe’s favourite islands for getting married, partly because the paperwork is simple and partly because the island itself is so calm. Couples take the ferry over, sign at the town hall and spend the rest of the day wandering harbours and lanes. Oscar and Lexi’s elopement, a real Danish day in the gallery below, had that same feel: fog drifting over the hills during their vows, then a dance on a harbour pier.
I’m Serg, and as an Ærø wedding photographer I’d keep things light, documentary and unhurried. Hourly coverage starts from five hours, which suits most elopements. Travel within Denmark is included. More on my Denmark page, or send me a note with your date.
